Under a tree, a bird feeder hung, and glued to it was a young black bear. Out in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, a homeowner has been having an ongoing battle with some black bears.
The black bears in question have been getting to the bird feeder and snacking on all the food that isn’t meant for them. He tried many ways to keep them away.
In his most recent attempt, he decided to hang the bird feeder from the tree. This has kept it safe from most black bears, but there was one who somehow managed to reach it.
It is unclear how he ended up in that position but the young black bear held himself on the bird feeder as it swung back and forth in the air.
His weight was not enough to break it, and so it just kept swinging. He was probably able to get some bird food from his attempt.
In the end, the bear was successful and the homeowner was thwarted once again. He will have to find another way of keeping the black bears away from the bird feeder.
It is unfortunate that the bears are winning, but at least it brought about a hilarious scene of a bear hanging from a swinging feeder.
