A wedding toast speech from Tim & Jess Linin’s wedding recently went viral online because it was unusually hilarious. Tim’s brother Joe Linin was giving a wedding toast speech that made everyone in the hall burst out in laughter, including the bride and the groom.
Weddings are a happy occasion when two individuals become family. The best part of all weddings is that apart from a reunion of 2 individuals. It is also a family get-together. At Tim & Jess’s wedding toast speech, Joe claims himself to be his brother’s favorite and starts the speech by saying that he would never roast or embarrass the groom.
However, when he begins the speech, he likely does the opposite. He shares incidents about their childhood days and tells everyone that he and his brother instantly shared a bond of dislike when they met each other. The whole family could be heard laughing along with the newlyweds. Yet, Joe still keeps a stern face and continues to speak.
Then he tells everyone that both the brothers did fight because Tim was foolish and obnoxious and would never understand him. Finally, Joe claimed to be the more handsome one. He said that he never expected Tim to choose him as the best man because it would give him the right to speak about him genuinely in front of the whole family.
He even wrote a poem about their funny childhood incidents that told everyone how the brothers behaved when they were young. The poem had funny incidents from the past that made everyone laugh loudly. Then, Joe told everyone all the secrets of his brother one by one, making everyone laugh.
Continuing the speech, Joe tells everyone that his brother had once ordered a sword delivered to his office cubicle, making the company issue a no-weapons policy. It was a hilarious roast done perfectly. Everyone was laughing hysterically.
He then spoke to Jess about how good and intelligent she was but told her that her only flaw was her taste in men. Jess instantly starts laughing and looks at the groom. He is nice to the bride and tells her that she is like a sister and a family. He then raises a toast for the couple and congratulates them, and ends his speech.
