Betty White & Johnny Carson in hilarious skit, “Female Reporter in Locker Room”

Johnny Carson and Betty White performed many sketches on The Tonight Show. They were known for their incredible on-screen chemistry.

The premise of this sketch is that a recent court ruling made it legal for female reporters to interview athletes in their locker rooms immediately after their games.

White plays the role of one of the first female reporters to conduct an interview in one of these locker rooms. Carson plays the role of a baseball player who is just about to have a shower when White walks in.

What follows is nothing short of hilarity, with dialogue dripping with innuendo and a Johnny Carson looking the most uncomfortable we’ve ever seen him on his television shows.

Johnny Carson was best known as one of the most outstanding television show hosts in the history of American television. He hosted The Tonight Show from 1962 to 1992 and has received several awards, including six Primetime Emmy Awards.

Carson began his career as a radio host before taking up the mantle of television host from the previous host of The Tonight Show, Jack Paar.

Betty White is considered one of the pioneers of early television, one of the first women to take control both in front of and behind the camera. She has worked on many major television shows like The Bold and the Beautiful, Boston Legal, and Saturday Night Live.
