This is the story of Mr. Snuggles. He is a beautiful-looking bird that has formed an incredible bond with a family for the past few years. Mr. Snuggles was found by Carol’s husband near their neighbor’s house.
He saw a small bird who looked like he was just born crawling on the ground. So, he brought the bird home and kept on looking for the bird’s parents.
They fed him twice daily till they realized that they are raising a bird as well. However, they were hesitant to keep him as they had a cat at home. So, they trained their rescue cat -Maurice.
They taught Maurice that Mr. Snuggles was not something that he could play with. It was challenging, but it eventually worked out. Later on, Snuggles fell in love with Maurice.
Mr. Snuggles soon made friends with other pets at home. He was comfortable with his new life, as he got a lot of love and care from his new family.
Snuggles now spends all day with his human family but sleeps with the other birds in the trees. He brings 200 of his friends home, and Carol loves to feed them breakfast and dinner.
The interspecies bonding and the personal relationship between the bird and Carol’s family are unique. In addition, the amount of trust shown by the wild bird towards another species is impressive.
