This little kitten in the video named Oskar is visually impaired. He was born blind and he never had the opportunity to play with toys ever before. When he was adopted at eight weeks old, his parents gifted him his first toys. They gave him balls with bells inside them so that he could find them easily. And what happened next is absolutely precious.
Disabled pets want to play like ordinary pets. Unfortunately, most of the times they go ignored at shelters due to their special needs. But they deserve as much love, if not more. These people sure do have a big and warm heart, and they had to think creatively to make Oskar feel welcome and safe in their home.
When they gave Oskar his first ball with a bell in it, he seemed disinterested at first, but then he touched it, and sort of hugged it. When he realized it had a bell in it, and that it would roll, he became way more interested and immediately started to play with it. He has several of these balls and loves chasing them around the room.
This family has another cat named Klaus, according to the subtitles in the video. They kept Oskar separated from Klaus for the first few days after bringing him home. But in the video, the owners tell us that the two of them are best friends now. What a wonderful happy ending for Oskar.
