Border collies and huskies are among the top favorite breeds for dog people. They’re adorable and fun, and they bring nothing but joy to the lives of their humans.
But when it comes to running an agility course, the two breeds have very different approaches, culminating in one of the funniest showdowns ever.
Border collies are known to be smart, quick, and obedient, and this border collie, named Fame, was just that as she shot through this agility course like a bolt of lightning.
Lobo the husky however was a different story. He started off pretty fast but almost immediately lost interest and started exploring the course as if it was a new playground, instead of actually finishing the obstacles.
Needless to say, Lobo ended up being the crowd favorite even though Fame finished the course almost perfectly. And it isn’t hard to see why. While Fame is very lovable, there’s something about a husky stubbornly doing his own thing that gets us every time.
Even the commentators noted that every competition had one dog that was just not interested in the race but wanted to do its own thing, instantly becoming the fan-favorite. This time that dog was Lobo.
As some users pointed out, huskies are notoriously hard to train and that Lobo actually did a great job, all things considered. They’re a very intelligent breed, they’re just not interested in a career in entertainment.
