A family in Utah was celebrating a child's birthday at an alligator enclosure when the start of an almost tragic event ensued. However, the act of one brave man stopped it all.
In a now-viral video that has reached over 3 million views on YouTube, people can see a group of kids watching an alligator behind a transparent wall. Then travesty ensues as the trainer is dragged into the pool by the gator.
At that moment, you can hear a voice yelling, "Hey! We've got trouble!" And one by one, the horrified kids are taken away from the scene. That's when our hero pops in.
In a split second, a man jumps into the enclosure with the trainer and straddles the beast as best as he can to try and save her from ultimate tragedy. The gator, who still has his firm grip on the trainer's hand, does not go easy.
The man, later identified as Donnie Wiseman, receives orders from Lindsay Bull, who, while still being bitten by the alligator calmy, reassures him of the process. In the end, another spectator grabs her out while Wiseman grips onto the gator.
When asked about his thought process through the entire ordeal, the only thing that Wiseman had to say was that he just needed the alligator to let her go so the animal wouldn't take her life away.
Donnie Wiseman, now dubbed as Crocodile Donnie, has been praised by many online. Viewers have indicated that he's a real-life superhero and the definition of a real dad. His heroic act has not gone unnoticed.
