Brandon and Kyle Bushaw were in shock as they drove through Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, as an all-white deer stepped out of the forest and crossed right in front of their car in Villa County’s Highway 51.
While narrating the story, Brandon and Kyle revealed that the situation felt surreal and like they were dreaming. At first, the duo confused the rare albino deer for a dog but later confirmed that it was bigger and brighter than a dog.
The two Bushaw brothers enjoyed their family vacation. They were driving back to Eagle River from Manitowish Waters when Kyle (currently residing in Madison) saw the deer while driving.
Kyle and Brandon turned their car around. The older brother (Brandon) pulled out his phone to start filming the extraordinary creature from the passenger seat. His brother stayed steady on the driver’s seat.
According to Brandon Bushaw, the albino deer was only ten feet in front of their car, having emerged from a ditch. Nevertheless, the rare creature boldly crossed the highway then moved back into the forest.
Brandon revealed that even though he was not born and raised in the Wisconsin area, he, his close keens, and friends have never had such a close encounter with a white or albino deer.
Conversely, Kyle Bushaw termed the occasion as one of the rarest and probably a once-in-a-lifetime thing for most Wisconsin people. Reports from organizations like Protect the Deer estimate that 1 in every 20,000 is a white deer.
