Buckminster The Baby Goat Starts Walking Down The Hall. What He Does Next? HILARIOUS

When I saw this video, I thought of the perfect soundtrack for this video. It’s “Walking on Sunshine” by Katrina and the Waves. Admittedly, it would take a lot of looping for this six-second video to be able to use the whole song. But I can’t stop hearing it in the background when I’m watching it. If you’re having a bad day, you definitely need to check this out.

It’s really quite simple. Buckminster starts walking down a hall and then suddenly does a giddy kind of jump-kick, kind of how humans like to jump and click their heels together when they are really happy. He does this not once but twice and then continues. If he were to talk at that moment, he would say, “Feeling goooo-oood.” Like I said, it’s a six-second video. But a lot of emotion is created in that time.

What is it about the video that makes us feel good? It’s the giddiness in his bounce as he’s making his way down the hall. Something made him happy… perhaps envisioning more food, the thought of a nap, or anticipating someone petting him. It’s spontaneous, unbridled and just plain joyful. Young animals are the best when it comes to their expressions of what they feel. We just feed off of that.

This is the perfect video for the snowy day that I’m enduring. Some people like snow, putting on boots, layering up and going sledding, skiing… whatever. I prefer to be able to feel my feet when I get back inside. It’s gray outside, my cat’s asleep, and I’m cheering myself up watching videos. So, thank you, Buckminster the goat, for cheering me up. May you have many more springs in your steps over the course of your life.

I really couldn’t stop smiling watching this. Were you giddy? Tell us in the comments below!
