For the Super Bowl, Budweiser presented a message of perseverance and determination directed by Chloé Zhao. Their story focuses on a beautiful Clydesdale horse and the people who support him all throughout.
It all starts with the horse running across majestic open fields. He has a fresh brown coat with white fur across his legs. His speed is unmatched as he continues darting across the seemingly endless landscape.
In the distance, some mountains fill the horizon, but the horse towers over them with his power and presence. A dog watches the beautiful sight from far away.
Then the horse approaches a barbed-wire fence and attempts to leap over it. Unfortunately, the horse can’t clear it, and he trips and falls.
The horse is injured and taken to the stables, where he is treated for his wound. Nearby the dog watches with worry and care in his eyes as the horse cannot stand up.
While recovering, the horse tries to get up but can’t muster enough strength. He doesn’t give up, and his caretakers worry about his well-being.
All their fears and doubts are washed away when the horse slowly walks out from the stables, light spilling onto the equine reborn. The horse begins to run, and the dog follows but cannot keep up with the immense speed.
