Bulldog Announced as 'Employee of the Month'

Dogs cannot speak like humans. But they can make their owners understand what they want with their looks and actions. Such an incident was recently shared by the owner of Reuben the Bulldog.

A bulldog with a wrinkled face, white and brown fur, and a slightly open mouth is standing indoors.

He stood in front of his owner, who was busy reading a magazine and trying to relax on a recliner. Reuben kept staring at his owner until he successfully caught his owner's attention.

When asked what he wanted, Reuben stared at him as if saying, "You know what I want." However, the owner misinterpreted the dog's looks and asked whether he was sitting on his chair, to which the Bulldog disagreed.

Next, the owner told Reuben it was not time for the dog's food. Reuben stood like a statue in front of his owner as if saying, "It is always time for food, but that is not it."

The owner also told his pet Bulldog that he would not take the dog for a car ride and didn't know what the dog wanted. This excited Reuben, and he tried jumping on his owner's lap. His owner seemed to understand what the dog wanted but was not prepared to do what Reuben wanted at that very moment.

Reuben kept giving his innocent looks, which made his owner give him what the dog wanted. He thanked him for Reuben's meritorious service, customer excellence, and thinking outside the box. Finally, he congratulated Reuben, the CEO of Reuben the Bulldog Industries, for once again becoming the Employee of the Month for April.

However, this congratulatory statement was not enough for the Bulldog. He wanted his owner to do one last thing for him. When the owner saw that his pet wasn't satisfied, he understood what to do. He quickly got a poster of Reuben that read "April – Employee of the Month." Later, he shook hands with Reuben.
