Meet Thomas and his dog Patty. Every day before heading off to work, Thomas ensures that Patty is secure in the back yard. He then leaves for work, and Patty eagerly awaits for his return.
One day, as Thomas sat down on the train going to work, he was surprised to see a dog jump up and sit in the seat next to him. It was Patty. Somehow, Patty had escaped from her spot in the yard and followed him onto the train. Thomas truly enjoyed this pleasant surprise, but he also knew that he needed to find out how Patty was escaping.
