Chloe and Annie along with their younger brother had gone to the mountains with their parents and grandparents. They had rented a beautiful cabin that overlooked a cliff. When they arrived at the cabin, their mother with their grandparents went in the cabin to take care of some paperwork and left the kids inside the SUV.
For some inexplicable reason, the brakes on the SUV were not functioning properly and the car started rolling in the direction of the cliff. When the mother realized what was going on, she did the unthinkable. She ran in front of the SUV and got ran over. That was enough to slow down the SUV enough to allow their grandfather to catch up to the SUV and pull the emergency break. The kids were saved.
