A sketch from the comedy series “The Carol Burnett Show” lampooned the products people used to use every day. While we may not know the products she made fun of, the sketch is still funny even today.
It takes real comedic talent to be able to make people laugh without uttering a single word. Carol Burnett does it in this sketch, even while parodying product commercials from the 1960s.
Those of us who weren’t living during the 60s might not know what these products were, but that doesn’t detract from the joy we see Carol Burnett getting punched by her laundry detergent, or getting crowned by her butter.
