James Corden, the host of The Late Late Show, has a popular segment he calls Carpool Karaoke. In this bit, Corden drives around Los Angeles with willing participants, jamming along to whatever song fits the mood best.
In a recent addition to Carpool Karaoke, Corden brought country music superstar Carrie Underwood onboard. The two zipped around LA, singing some of Underwood’s best loved songs, and even stopped at a boot shop for some new shoes.
This hilarious duo rocked their way through “Jesus Take The Wheel”, Before He Cheats”, and Underwood’s latest release “Smoke Break”. Between their musical numbers, Corden chatted with Underwood about her husband, hockey, and her music.
They even talked a little about Underwood’s Husband’s fighting. As a player for the NFL, he’s sure to get in brawls. Corden asked, “Do you get worried when he has a fight?”. To which Underwood replied,”Have you seen his latest fight? He knocked a guy’s tooth out, it was pretty hot.”
Their trip culminates in a visit to a country western clothing boutique. Corden tried on a vest, a hat, and boots, before realizing the shop was priced out of his range. Underwood tried to sell the shoes as an investment to Corden, but he knew better than her where his wallet stood.
