A lot of people think cats and dogs can't be friends. I guess cartoons and television has a lot to do with that perception, but the reality is cats and birds can get along just fine and dandy. If you have a cat and a bird then you know this already, right?!
In this video you'll see Sam the cockatiel literally on top of Kevin the cat. In fact, it looks as though Sam is a little protective -- or maybe jealous! At any rate, Sam is making it clear that Kevin is HIS charge. No doubt about it.
Isn't that adorable? Kevin and Sam are no doubt very good friends, and Kevin is very fond of is bird buddy.
