When someone is playing the piano, you would not expect to find a cat sleeping on the hammer rail. But that is exactly what this cute feline decided to do while his master played.
The pianist was practicing a catchy and dance-worthy boogie song, but that did not affect the young cat sleeping on the piano. Despite the rapid keystrokes, he slept peacefully.
Fortunately, the hammers moved every time the pianist struck another key, so he was given a nice little massage from the moving wooden pieces. They kept hitting him lightly in the body, rocking him.
Occasionally, the pianist would run her hands down the keyboard, hitting all the high notes that were above the sleeping cat’s head. This was the only way to get his attention and wake him up.
Twice, he opened his eyes briefly to look at the hammers as they moved above his head. However, it was not long before he drifted off into a gentle sleep again while the pianist continued her performance.
He finally awakened when the pianist began playing on the upper octaves of the piano. It was sweet to watch him slowly open his eyes, then look around himself as though waking from a dream.
He saw the keys moving and the hammers around his body, and suddenly he wanted to play, reaching out his paws to touch the moving parts, his eyes becoming wider. It was a sweet reaction from an adorable cat.
