Many people in the world think animals are incapable of expressing emotions. However, several unlikely friendships between animals proved they could love and show compassion just like humans do.
Recently one of the odd friendships between a cat named Kelvin and her dog sibling Joule had gained a lot of attention online. Joule suffered from separation anxiety whenever the owner would leave them for work.
Both Kelvin and Joule got along pretty well, and the owners usually found them in the same room. However, the owners got a complete picture of what was happening only when they had installed a security camera.
The anxious dog would hop on the couch and sit for a while when the owners left for work. Soon Kelvin would jump up and start rubbing up on Joule and keep mushing his face into her face.
When the owners saw this on the security footage, it just blew their minds. They had never thought that Kelvin would ever cuddle up with their dog. Joule would always jump up first on the couch, and Kelvin would follow.
They would then adjust themselves into the perfect position and would fall asleep. This incident happened every single day. The owners wanted to believe that the dog understood the cat was trying to comfort her.
They noticed that Joule was getting more used to her owner’s leaving every day and was not suffering from anxiety anymore. However, Joule was super excited to meet the owners when they returned from work.
