Who says that cats and dogs don’t have a sense of humor? I’ve caught my cat too many times pulling pranks on everyone in the family just for the fun of it. One time my wife was trying to catch some snooze-time in the living room, when all of the sudden, I saw the cat sneaking up on her. The cat came from one of the rooms and was on her way upstairs when she saw my wife.
She went around the staircase, so my wife wouldn’t see her and then when she least expected it, she jumped on her startling her when she landed. My wife had no idea and I didn’t have time to tell her because I was on the other side. We all laughed it off as something that had never happened before until the cat did it again.
This time I was the victim. I had stayed late working because I had some reports to hand in the following day. I had gotten some late-night inspiration and felt like adding some graphics. It was just me and a cup of coffee, or so I thought so. I was so concentrated on what I was doing that I didn’t see her, this time she had passed right in front of my eyes.
Suddenly, I felt something going up my leg and I thought it might be some sort of insect but when I looked, there was nothing there. I kept working and about a minute later, I felt the same thing where I would look and there would be no one there. After about 5 minutes of this, I was freaking out. I got up and turned on the light only to reveal that my cat was under my desk pawing at my pants and then hiding.
Finally, the last time my cat targeted someone for his pranks around my house, it was my son’s turn. This time, my son was taking a nap on a Saturday. He had just come back from playing with his friends and had spaghetti with meatballs. Five minutes after that meal, he had fallen asleep. The cat started tickling him on his forehead to get him to wake up. My son changed positions several times until I grabbed the cat and took her to another room.
The cat in the following video loves being mischievous. When he is pulling pranks on someone, he makes sure it is his friend the dog.
