The idea that a cat and dog can’t be friends is purely a myth. Of course you’ll see examples of dogs chasing after cats and vice versa, but that’s only because the two have not been properly acquainted. Take a look this video of Watson (cat) and Solomon (dog) becoming great friends and you’ll see that cats and dogs can make great friends.
Sure it took some warming up on Watson’s part, but that’s how it always goes when someone new is introduced to the family. Jealousy and suspicion always arise at first, but with time, friendship is all that remains.
