America’s Got Talent has touched a variety of show lovers worldwide. The Talent Show airs on NBC and is a part of the global Got It brand, created by the media mogul Simon Cowell. In addition, two talented cellists, Emil & Dariel, recently returned to perform on the AGT: All-Stars stage.
The show has helped many talented performers get a stage to showcase their talents. Many magicians, comedians, stuntmen, and various performers have found success after they got an opportunity to perform on AGT.
Emil and Dariel had participated in Season 9 of America’s Got Talent. However, unfortunately, they were eliminated from the Top 12 by the Judges. But the brothers did not lose hope. They recently performed a rock version of A-ha’s “Take On Me” on AGT’s: All-Stars. The rock band’s performance backing them is also brilliant during the show.
Heidi likes their act and says, “She expected that performance.” However, the cellists’ performance fails to impress Simon Cowell & Howie Mandel. Mandel says, “You know I am thrilled you showed up here. You got the career you deserved, but this being AGT: All-Stars, what we loved in Season 9, the bar keeps going up, and I don’t know that you’re achieving that tonight.”
He further adds, “But I really like you guys. I think you are amazing musicians & you should be so proud of yourselves.” This is when Cowell starts to speak, tells Emil and Dariel that they need to work on their personality, and calls them boring.
However, the crowd does not agree with the media mogul. Simon pushes the performers too hard to tell him something interesting about themselves. So, Dariel tells the judges that they are currently in dental school and want to become a dentist. Along with it, they also wish to follow their passion for music. Finally, they thank the judges and walk off the stage.
Several people have left heartwarming comments on their performance video clip. “Emil & Dariel are one of my favorite AGT acts ever,” says one. While another person posts, “You guys were rock stars tonight!! Follow your passion no matter what anyone says!!!” Unfortunately, the two did not receive enough votes from Superfans and were eliminated. However, this is just the beginning of a bright career for the 2 cellists.
