It’s the time of the year when everyone finds seasonal displays lighting up neighborhoods across the country. However, the “Dancing Light Show” in Harrisburg, PA, is one of a kind.
The creator of the fantastic Linglestown Lights, Aidan Carrigan, is the person behind these beautiful lights. His Christmas light display at his home (5780 Stillwell Court in Harrisburg, PA) is extravagant.
Carrigan is a local Penn State graduate and lives in Linglestown. If you live in the neighborhood, you might have heard about his Christmas Light Show. Everyone is allowed to visit his home and experience the fantastic light display.
Carrigan places 70,000 lights on his house’s 1st and 2nd story roofs. He uses 64 control channels to control the roof lights. In addition, a smaller color-changing Christmas tree is added to the yard with 9 new lawn decorations and strobe lights.
The creator synchronizes the lights with a long lineup of 13 different songs. The first song in the lineup is “Christmas Eve” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Next, Carrigan encourages everyone to visit his home with their family.
The video of the random lights flickering just as the song hits its chaotic crescendo looks mind-blowing. But, in one of his interviews with a news magazine, Carrigan said, “People can really take their time and look at the lights and really have a good time.”
Carrigan has put a lot of effort into creating such magnificent artwork for his friends and followers. He just wants people to forget about all their troubles while they enjoy the light show. For Carrigan, it brings back fond memories from his childhood during the holiday season.
