At the Sploid Short Film Festival, hundreds of short films get submitted for awards. These films tell incredible stories and often show surprising visual effects. “One-Minute Time Machine” is one of those videos that left audiences wanting the movie to continue.
This short film is less than six minutes long and will quickly brighten up your day. It focuses on two characters sitting on a park bench. James, the lead male, joins Regina, who is enjoying a relaxing day outside with a science book.
After James sits down, Regina asks what he’s holding. With “One-Minute Time Machine” written blatantly across the side, she quickly figures out what the item is. As soon as James notices that she sees his secret machine, he presses a red button and disappears.
Reappearing again like it’s the first time, we continue to see James try to flirt with Regina. Every time he messes up or embarrasses himself, he goes back in time one minute to try again. Little does James know, Regina has quite a bit of knowledge about time travel herself.
