Few things bring out the sheer joy of animals as music. Some animals love having loud music blasting and they start doing their own routine along with it. It may be them shuffling around, bopping their head to the music, tapping their feet… even howling along with it. Snowball, the cockatiel that we see in this video here, is in a class of his own. I haven’t seen ANYTHING Like him before.
Snowball dances through a medley of the late Michael Jackson’s songs. They include “Billie Jean”, “Black or White”, “Bad” and “Rock With You.” He LOVEs getting down to these songs, bobbing his head up and down and strutting. The only thing that is missing is a sequined glove on one claw and a little fedora on his head. Then it’d be easy to imagine him as the reincarnation of the King of Pop.
I wrote about Snowball before, when he danced to Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust.” This bird has quite a dance repertoire! Jackson would be impressed by this cockatiel’s dance moves. It’s too bad he’s no longer with us, since he might have brought him on tour with him, given his love of animals. Then again, being in a stadium with tens of thousands of people might have made him fly away.
It’s one thing for a human to be boogieing down like this to a song, but there’s just something even cooler with an animal doing it. Also, animals are a lot less prone to getting embarrassed at being videotaped and then having that performance uploaded to YouTube, whereas a human might be like, “You recorded that? Then you uploaded it and it has 43 million views? I’m going to go hide in the bathroom for three years.” At least that would be me.
Wasn’t Snowball adorable? I was bopping along with him. How about you? Were your feet tapping? Tell us why or why not in the comments section!
