Four college wrestlers are wrestling with a bear while searching for fallen antlers in a forest in Wyoming when a bear comes out of nowhere and attacks them. The bear came running out of the trees, which the boys did not see until they were face to face with the animal.
The bear pounced and tackled them. One of the kids screams, “Bear, Bear!” The bear attacked him, and one of his teammates challenged the bear and fought it to free his wrestling buddy.
The bear then attacked the other kid as he tried to save his friend. The bear used his head to push the kid onto the ground and against the trees. IT attacked the kid, and he put his hands in the bear’s mouth to prevent him from chewing on his neck. The bear finally decided he had had enough as he walked away.
As the boys breathed a sigh of relief, the bear returned for more. The bear came up behind one of the kids, and he heard it walking. It came and attacked the boy again. Eventually, they were able to break away. They called 911 and reunited with their teammates.
One of the kids was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, requiring 60 staples in his head. Another kid was treated for a fracture in his arm. Experts agree that the ending could have been tragic, but the brotherhood between the boys was strong and faithful due to their wrestling background. The bond between the boys grew more significant on that fateful day.
