Animals love music. We’ve all seen so many videos where they do everything from bopping along to to it to dancing to covering their ears (probably after hearing William Hung’s “She Bang” on “American Idol.” Others like to try to lend their own voice to the mix, from parrots singing the actual lyrics to this cute German Shepherd that we see in this video.
The dog that we see in this video’s name is Maximus. Yes, you just heard Russell Crowe’s “Gladiator” character bellow “ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!” in your head, didn’t you? It wasn’t just me, was it? OK. Good. The pooch is resting in the bathroom and his daddy starts singing. Not just any song.. it’s Eduard Khil’s “Trololol.” Soon, Maximus is joining in and howling melodically.
Now, were I the one singing, this dog wouldn’t be howling in protest or singing along. He’d be jumping into the shower, biting me to make me stop it. Yes… My singing voice is that bad that it shatters glass. No, not because I can hit a certain range of frequency or anything. It’s that horrendous. So, for the good of every animal and person on this planet… I don’t sing. Though I do rap sometimes.
All in all, Maximus is having fun. I don’t think he’s particularly bothered by his daddy’s singing, because if that were the case, he’d be scratching at the bathroom door in an attempt to get out. It seems to be a ritual between the two. Anything that brings the two closer together, eh? I don’t think we’ll see them on any talent shows, though. They’ll have to settle for just viral fame at nearly three-and-a-half million views.
