Concerned Chipmunk Consoles a Baby Deer Without a Mom

A fawn rests on rocks near a chipmunk, both surrounded by autumn leaves.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live away from the neon city and closer to Mother Nature? Well, this Korean guy decided to do so by living in the Canadian wilderness.

Lee and his chipmunk pals, Joony and Willy, have everyday adventures in the woods. They were in for a surprise, though, when they came across a beautiful baby deer resting all alone just outside the cottage.

Lee was the first to discover the fawn. He never saw a baby deer so up close, and she was gorgeous. The mother was nowhere to be seen through; the fawn was all alone.

Lee tried to grab the attention of the baby deer. Then, the most unexpected thing happened. Johnny, the chipmunk, came from nowhere and took a great interest in the fawn.

Lee hadn't expected Joony, he thought to himself, but Joony paid no attention to that at all. So instead, he slightly waved his tail and made an introduction to the cub. His wandering eyes indeed speak for everyone watching the video!

The chipmunk waited for quite a time, semi-circled the baby deer with great concern, and then left the scene. This heart-whelming interaction between these two curious critters was so pleasing to watch.

According to Lee's YouTube channel ChooChoo's Story, he lives in a forest behind a lake in an idyllic setting that would put any Disney-like environment to shame. He has devoted his time to filming his interactions with wildlife.
