A construction guy is going viral for a vocal and flute cover of Home is Behind from the epic trilogy Lord of the Rings. Standing in an empty room with the sound of dripping water in the background adds to the haunting vibe of the song.
Paul Harvery “Flute Guy,” as he is known on Youtube, has a fairly decent following with over 6K subscribers. While most of his videos get around a thousand views, give or take, this one blew up, getting him over 100K views on Youtube.
Paul’s channel is full of videos of him playing the flute in different environments. He usually plays in some kind of empty room with a lot of reverberation but there are some of him playing outdoors in more natural settings.

He is also a diehard fan of Lord of the Rings and has done other videos inspired by the movies on his channel, such as Boromir’s Speech and Misty Mountains.
He has a particular love for Home is Behind though, having covered it a few other times on his Youtube channel.
Being a construction worker, Paul gets access to different kinds of rooms in different stages of the building process. This has developed a love of reverberation that he uses his singing and his flute playing to test out.
One user jokingly points out, “Bro, do you even build?” before asking Harvey if he would consider releasing an album of his music.
