When most people audition for talent shows like The Voice, they’ll choose their favorite pop, rock, or country song to sing. A young woman named Somer Smith decided to perform the classic hymn “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” during her blind audition.
An older song like this can be more difficult to sing. Somer practiced for hours on end to make sure that her audition on The Voice Australia would go as smoothly as possible. As soon as she starts singing, you can’t help but be left in awe.

She barely got through the first verse before three out of the four judges turned around. By the end of the song, Somer had all four judges to choose from. We can’t wait to see what else this young lady sings in the future.
