The Cotton Pickin Kids are a group of talented young musicians ranging in age from 9 to 17. In honor of Independence Day, the family band joined together to produce a stirring version of the national anthem.

They began with acapella singing, relying solely on their voices to carry the sound and tone of the ‘Star-Spangled Banner.’ They began with a vocal solo and eventually involved all members of the band.

After they had taken the time to showcase their vocal talents, they began playing the national anthem again – this time, however, they used only their instruments to carry the song.

With a combination of classic bluegrass instruments, they joined together to form a unique blend of sounds that was both memorable and enjoyable. Their instruments ranged from banjo to fiddle to mandolin.

These six family members have been playing their instruments since they were two years old, and they have been playing together throughout their entire lives. Their level of comfort and expertise is evident.

Although the musicians are still quite young, it is clear that they have talent that will continue to develop as they grow and play together in the years to come. They have a unique sound.
