Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers were one of the best pairs in country music history. Thanks to technology, we can look back as Ms. Parton serenades Rogers with an astounding live performance of “I Will Always Love You.”
When Kenny Rogers decided to retire in 2017, the country music legend held a special event where some of his friends took the stage. The event was appropriately called “All In For The Gambler,” and fans were ecstatic for the show.
With famous guests like The Judds and Lionel Richie, the majority of the audience was excited to see Kenny and Dolly perform one last time together. Sharing memories from all the years they performed with one another, this event made guests laugh, cry, and dance along.
With Rogers sitting down, Dolly gave an emotional performance of “I Will Always Love You.” Kenny passed away in March of 2020, and Parton shared these beautiful words about her what she’s feeling right now: “I loved Kenny with all my heart…I think that I can speak for all his family, his friends, and fans when I say that I will always love you.”
