Country legends Willie Nelson and Ray Price sing ‘It Always Will Be’

Willie Nelson is a beloved American country singer who scored countless hits in country and even crossed over for hits on the Billboard chart too. His signature vocal style and iconic look made him a unique force in music for decades.

Willie’s been performing for many years, and this mix of him singing his hit song ‘It Always Will Be’ also features the legendary Ray Price. Ray has produced some of the biggest hits in country music over the years.

The tribute starts with Willin singing ‘It Will Always Be’ from the album of the same name. Then, Ray Price sings his version of the song from his ‘Final Sessions.’ It ends with Willie singing it again on his tribute album ‘For the Good Times.’

Ray Price was a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His deep baritone voice resonated with power causing many to proclaim him the best country singer. He also helped move country music into a new beat from 2/4 to 4/4, creating what was known as ‘The Ray Price Beat.’

Ray was elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996. On Willie’s 65th album, he recorded ‘For the Good Times: A Tribute to Ray Price.’ Willie was part of Ray’s Cherokee Cowboys and was great friends with him.
