Late last year country star David Nail and his wife, Catherine, got the best Christmas present imaginable: a child! But not only were they graced with one beautiful infant, Catherine gave birth to twins.
The children, a boy and a girl, were born on Saturday, December 12th in 2015 at a Nashville Hospital near where the couple lives. Their son, Lawson Brett, was born at 7:44 in the morning, and weighed in at 6 pounds, 2 ounces. His sister, Lillian Catherine, arrived one minute later, weighing 5 pounds, 14 ounces.
Both children were born strong and healthy, little Christmas miracles. When the couple were interviewed by El News shortly after the birth, they said: “No words can describe the feeling. Beyond worth the wait. We are crazy in love with them both.”
The couple had announced their pregnancy at the 49th annual CMA Awards. At the same time they revealed that they’d been struggling to conceive for a couple years.
David posted a red carpet photo to Instagram and stated, “We are beyond excited to finally be sharing this news with you all. We are extremely blessed and I am so thankful for my ‘Fighter.'”
