Many people enjoy listening to country music for the sense of pride it provides as an American. Randy Travis is one of the biggest names in the industry, and he performed an emotional rendition of “Peace in the Valley” live in 2003.
Travis first broke into the music scene in the 1980s and quickly found himself at the top of the charts. Though his style may be country, that doesn’t stop him from singing worship songs like this classic.
During a performance at the Calvary Assembly of God in Orlando, Florida, Randy gives the audience a special cover. He belts out the gut-wrenching words to “Peace in the Valley,” and there isn’t a dry eye in the house.
We’re thankful for moments like this allowing us to remember about the light at the end of the tunnel. Travis does a phenomenal job at singing the worship song, and it reminds us to keep moving forward towards more positive times ahead.
