What sounds like a fairy tale or plot from a romantic Hollywood movie is true. Against all odds, a man and woman have been reunited after 50 years apart and set out to find the daughter they had adopted all those years ago.
Dennis Vinar and Karen Lehmann went to the same school in Northfield, Minnesota. He adored being with her, and at times, he even forfeited football practice just to walk her home.
They loved each other dearly from the beginning, and their relationship was blooming. After two years of moonshine and roses, they knew that they would be together forever, but then the unexpected happened.

At the age of 15, Karen got pregnant. It was the 60s, and people were less tolerant of teen pregnancies than they are today. Their parents disapproved of the situation they found themselves in.
The couple was forced to give the baby up for adoption after birth. Soon after, Dennis joined the military, and Karen went to college. This was the last time they saw each other until Dennis discovered her 50 years later.
Dennis joined LinkedIn as recommended by a friend, and the first thing he did, was to search for Karen. She was the third person on the list, and he was overwhelmed. Even talking about it in the video brings tears to his eyes.
Their reunion and how they meet their daughter after all those years is a very moving occasion. People worldwide are overwhelmed with emotions. It is one of those videos that is bound to lift the spirit of anyone that watches it.
