Meet Smokey McPlupp O’Sullivan-McCann. He might look like a baby polar bear, but he’s a rare silver pug. He is my best friend, roommate and stylist (he styles my clothing by leaving white hairs all over it!)
When I met him for the first time, he had smoke-colored ears, so that’s where he got his name. His biological mom was a fawn pug (black snout, tan body) and his father was a super rare white pug. And Smokey is a wonderful mixture of the two. Now he is the color of a coffee with extra cream, but it seems to me that his name still suits him.
The last time I posted a video of Smokey, a lot of our fans wrote in their comments that he looks like a frenchie. I assure you, he’s pure pug. If you don’t believe me, I’m happy to send him to your place. His rampant shedding and pugnoxious personality will convince you that he is a real pug!
