When you have a rambunctious dog, keeping the pooch in the yard can be a challenge. You don’t want your dog tearing through neighbors’ yards, fighting with their pets, digging up flower beds, etc., etc. It can also be a matter of safety for your canine friend. You don’t want them to run off and get lost, to say nothing of getting hit by a car. Simply building a fence should solve this problem, you say. But then consider that dogs are pretty good at climbing and jumping. You’d be surprised how much fence it takes to contain a high-spirited canine. But the best you can do as a dog owner is build something reasonable and hope for the best.
One man was so proud of the fence he built to keep his dog Stella in the yard, he decided to record a video to post on the internet. And we have to admit, he did an excellent job building the fence. He chose materials and a design that are tasteful, low-key, and fit in perfectly with the surroundings. He begins his video by explaining, “Yep, just completed fixing this fence. Pretty proud of it I’d have to say. Try to keep Stella in the yard.”
As his camera pans to show us the entire fence, Stella comes trotting into the frame. Although a grown-up dog, she pulls what can best be described as a classic puppy move. Without even needing to think about it much, Stella sails right over the fence and into the neighbors’ yard. Her elegance in flight is almost insolent. All the previously proud fence-builder can do is shake his head and mutter, “Damn it.”
So it was back to the drawing board for this guy, unless he gave up on the project altogether. We’ve posted the hilarious video below so you can see Stella’s amazing acrobatic skills.
