Dancing Nurse’s Spontaneous Moves Make Even The Sickest Patients Smile

Nurses truly have one of the toughest jobs on the planet – in addition to helping their patients become physically healthy, they are also responsible for their mental well being and happiness. And one nurse at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital has concocted the perfect combination to keep his patients feeling their best.

When Joe Ronquillo was approached to appear in a new commercial for the hospital he has worked at for the past 16 years, he was unsure about showing off his special talent on camera. After all, how often does one see a nurse doing full-out body rolls and robot moves to cheer up one of their sick patients?

However, after all the positive praise Ronquillo’s TV debut has garnered, it’s clear that dancing nurses are something the world needs more of. After all, as Ronquillo puts it best, “it’s not just treating the disease, it’s treating the entire patient.”

Today Ronquillo, his sisters Lavinia and Sabrina, and his brother Marvin all work at St. Luke’s, providing excellent care for their many charges. While spending his days dancing through the halls, Ronquillo can also be found moonlighting as a water balloon target, anything to add that “extra flavor” that causes his young patients to smile.
