While clearing away some wilderness to make way for some electric lines, these construction workers came across this fawn. He was tangled up in some thorns and would have been in the fall path of a tree they had to cut down.
Once they got him free of the thorns they tried to calm him down by rubbing his belly. The poor fawn was so shaken! The construction workers were very surprised, because after they calmed him down, the little fawn followed them are the job site.
One of the workers spotted a doe cautiously watching from the hillside. Obviously it was the fawns Mom. So they carried the little guy up the hillside, but not too close to the doe, and let him go. He ran straight for Mom!
