The advertising industry in the West is highly focused on selling things and quickly grabbing people’s attention. But in other places in the world that is not always the case. We have featured several commercials that were made in Thailand before, and Taiwanese tend to advertise in a completely different way.
Watch a video that has nearly 4 million views since it was posted. This ad for the Krungthai Bank is unlike any banking ad you have seen before. He takes the time to tell a beautiful story of one of the young girls that the bank gave a scholarship to.
This tear jerking story nearly brought me to tears when I first saw it. This is an amazing way of connecting with your audience and making them really feel a connection. I wish that more advertisers in the West learned from ads like this one.
