Every dog deserves a chance at a happy life. For a very long time it looked like Quasimodo was never going to get that chance. His struggled since birth with a genetic defect in his paws that meant that he could only crawl around on his elbows.
For the first three years of his life he was chained up and eventually abandoned when he was tossed out of his owner’s pickup truck. In a stunning turn of events, he was rescued from the side of the road and taken to the pound.
The employees of the facility instantly saw how happy the little dog was. He had such a great personality and he and seem to think that he was different from any of the other dogs there. After a GoFundMe campaign raised more than $4000 to pay for the surgery that Quasimodo needed this dog was finally able to walk for the first time in his life.
