With August in full swing, summer is really taking a toll on many of us. Luckily, as humans we sweat a lot to cool ourselves off. Unfortunately for our furry canine friends, sweating isn’t an option – and the heat can be so much hotter for them than it is for us humans.
One of the only way a dog can cool itself is by panting and breathing, since they don’t have the sweat glands we have. The only sweat glands in their bodies are actually in the footpads of their paws.
What’s a dog to do on a hot summer’s day in order to not have a heatstroke?! One brilliant dog realizes how hot it is outside and does the most logical thing – and it’s nothing short of hilarious!
