A dog was found tied to a fire hydrant in Green Bay. The image of the tied dog went viral on social media, and animal lovers reacted aggressively to it. However, the Wisconsin Humane Society left the judgment at the door.

A reporter of Fox6 News, Christina Vans, got in touch with the owner of the dog, named Baby Girl. Angela Speed from the Wisconsin Humane Society said that they found a note with the dog. They took it upon themselves in desperation to save the dog.

According to Angela, people attacked violently at the owner of Baby Girl. However, the Wisconsin Humane Society quickly showed compassion for the owner. They shared a social media post defending the owner of the dog. A section of the animal lovers received the post beautifully.

Thousands of people said "thank you" for the positive outlook and the beautiful post. Baby Girl was taken to the Wisconsin Humane Society's Green Bay location. The owner was said to have medical issues that prevented her from taking care of the dog.

According to Angela, the owner did the best she could with her limited resources. The dog was tied tight with the fire hydrant so she wouldn't be hit by a car. She packed a backpack full of her favorite items, including treats and toys.

The Wisconsin Humane Society reminded the people that they care for people, too. But unfortunately, such situations are never too easy for animal owners. In the meantime, Baby Girl was comfortable in her new home.
