All this donkey wants is to become a Clydesdales. Now watch his next move!

How many of you have had a dream for the longest time? I bet most of us have. I’ve had dreams that I’ve held on to for a long time. I used to be one of those guys who worked in a regular 9 to 5. I didn’t hate my job, it was okay, but I didn’t love it. It paid the bills and gave me a little bit more. I saw most of my friends were in the same position I was.

They had all studied what they thought would get them a job, and for the most part, it did. We grew up in a place where there were a lot of factories. Most of them got a job as supervisors and a few of them got promoted to managers. By the time I got in contact with them, they were very much ahead in their careers. They were satisfied with their progress but not happy.

During my growing up I had two dreams: to be a teacher and to be a writer. Being a teacher was probably the hardest one of the two. I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was about 8 years old. What I didn’t know at the time was all the preparation that was involved in being one. I studied for about 5 years and then took a couple of additional courses.

When I finally got to the class I was going to teach the first day, I was almost petrified! I mean, I was teaching teenagers but that first day got the best of me. I had the knowledge but had no idea that they would be so distracted all the time. It was as if they didn’t want to be there. Well, I think most of them didn’t want to.

After a few years, I was the best teacher at the school and I continued teaching for around 15 years more. That’s when I remembered I still had another dream to reach. This was being a writer. I had written a few things, but they were mostly novels that I had written for myself. I didn’t share them with anyone. Then, I got the chance to write a small e-book and that’s where it all started for me.

I knew then and there that I should not let my dreams die. Another of these cases is the one in the following video. A donkey has always wanted to be a Clydesdale. His owner didn’t believe in him. I don’t blame him actually. After all, he is just a donkey with a big dream. Would he still be able to reach it?
