When you head to the beach to snorkel, you expect to find some fish, maybe a coral or two. What you don’t expect to find are hundreds of sharks in the water right by you. Such was the case for teenager Zack Judkins, who was snorkeling one day off the coast of New Zealand when he spotted something strange in the water.

Grabbing his drone, he took footage of the area and when he watched it he was shocked to see hundreds of sharks just hanging out in the water by the beach. There were at least two species, including the more surface-dwelling hammerhead sharks, but the sheer number of creatures concentrated into one area was the really impressive thing he saw.
