Dancing may look easy, but it takes a ton of hard work and dedication. Formation dance is a type of ballroom dancing that’s quite challenging. When the Vera Tyumen Latin Team took the stage for a championship, they used their skills to impress the judges.
In the fall of 2013, the talented crew stepped on stage when it was their turn during the WDSF World DanceSport Championship Formation Standard. After putting in endless hours of practice, the Vera Tyumen Latin Team was aiming to win first place.
As they began, the members lined up on the side of the stage. Men were wearing suits, and the ladies were dressed in beautiful shimmering dresses. When the team’s name was announced to perform, the crowd began to clap and chant their name.
Each pair started with slow and classic ballroom dance moves, mesmerizing the audience. Every move looked calculated, and they never missed a single step. Halfway through the song, the dancers began to move with fast-paced twirls. Thanks to their confidence and hard work, Vera Tyumen Latin Team won the entire competition.
