Musically Inclined Chicken Plays ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ On The Piano

It is a sad moment when you realize that the piano-playing chicken is more talented than you. I never made it to ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ on my keyboard.

Now, I have seen everything! A chicken that plays the piano; not only does she play the piano, but she is part of a band of chickens, called ‘The Flockstars.’ Jokgu plays her rendition of ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ for her adoring fans.

Jokgu is a 2-year-old Buff Brahma Bantam chicken. She lives in Maryland with her band of sisters, who also play instruments. They enjoy “dust bathing, scratching around, laying eggs, and playing on their toy instruments,” according to their Facebook page.

She appeared on America’s got talent, where she played ‘America The Beautiful.’ When you watch her play ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,’ you can see that the keys light up. This is how Jokgu’s handlers, ‘Two Creative Chicks,’ teach Jokgu how to play.

Well, that and some yummy treats. You might look at the light and think the chicken has it too easy, but she does a better job than some people who have tried to learn and play the same way. Regardless of how they taught her, the fact remains that they managed it, and that is impressive!

‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ is not the only song that this chicken can play. She is a true talent and not a one-hit-wonder. She is also not the only chicken in the coop that can play—what a talented hen house.

That’s it! I’ve been shown up by a chicken, a chicken that can play multiple songs on the piano. Life is unfair!
