Evening farm chores with 6 baby goats and 9 puppies

Cambria was new to farm life. The family was still learning how to raise animals and their 4- and 7-year-old kids on their 2-acre homestead. Cambria used to do all the chores by herself.

Their house was located in the hills of Southern California. It included farm animals such as Nigerian Dwarf Goats, guardian dogs, Great Pyrenees livestock & chickens. Cambria recently shared some adorable moments while she did the evening chores on the farm after returning from her son Kane’s baseball game.

The animals were hungry and wanted their meals. So, the kind woman walked down the barnyard to feed them. Her goats, Chocolate, Fiona, and her guardian dog, Millie, recently gave birth to babies, and she had kept them together for the first time.

She separated the other animals so that the mothers could relax while they took care of their babies. She had made a puppy mush for Millie’s little ones. The other guardian dog, Bubba, waited for the owner near the barn doorstep. Cindy, one of the other goats, welcomed her while Millie waited for her inside the enclosure. Fiona and her babies roamed around in the enclosure as well.

Chocolate’s babies were jumping around while their mother walked around patiently. Cambria gave the goats their evening grain before letting everybody in and giving the puppies their food. Fiona’s little one, Bernice, grew up pretty fast and was now over 3 pounds. The little puppies were eating like cute little monsters.

Cambria gave the mothers their evening grain and ensured that all the babies were with the females. One of the puppies could not find his way back into the enclosure and received help from Cambria. Later she moved on to feed the broody hen. However, she was scared of them and let them be as they were for the time being.

Soon, she bid goodnight to the goats, gave Bubba his food, and held the little puppy, Blue, in her arms as he reminded her of his daddy so much. Finally, she had put fresh bedding in the enclosure with heat lamps on and was ready to leave the animals for the night.
