During a recent flight delay, the passengers on this plane headed to New Orleans from Indianapolis were in for an awesome treat when this group of elderly men decided to pass the time by singing a song. The group of men are actually Port City Sound, a barbershop quartet from Maine.
The quartet members are Walt Dowling, Fred Moore, Jim Curtis and Jim Simpson, men with a passion for music. When the men burst into song, Flight attendant Kari Mann quickly whipped out her phone to record the unexpected performance.
Port City Sound won the Senior Quartet Championship for both Maine and New Jersey. They perform in the northeast where their harmonies have garnered quite a fanbase. What an amazing experience this would be to witness firsthand.
