Extraordinary MonaLisa Twins sings the iconic song “Sound Of Silence” in MLT duo Session.

MonaLisa Twins

The Sound of Silence has a very unique story. It was initially written by Paul Simon and then featured on the duo’s (Simon&Garfunkel) 1964 debut album titled “Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.” The success of Simon & Garfunkel in the 1960s sends a powerful warning against the dangers of indifference, which still comes in handy today.

The single was an overnight sensation, skyrocketing to the top of the sales charts, and reached the upmost top on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 1966. The song was initially released in an acoustic version and was later reorganized with drums and electric guitars to the music we know it to be today.

MonaLisa Twins

Known for their pop-rock band culture and YouTube covers of 1960s classics, the MonaLisa Twins were heavily influenced by the 60s music. Their (Simon & Garfunkel cover) rendition of “Sound of Silence” was a magical piece.

We see the talented musicians, Mona and Lisa, singing together in an MLT Club Duo Chords session. Mona plays rhythm guitar, while her twin sister Lisa plays lead guitar as they both sing the lyrics to the song “Sound of Silence” with magical vocals.

This is one of their fan favorites as their bright personalities shine through in the video. The MonaLisa Twins have undoubtedly done the best version of the song (Cover by Simon & Garfunkel) of “Sound of Silence.”

Both twins play the guitars perfectly and evenly; the variation in the guitar’s tone is barely noticeable. The MonaLisa twins begin the song with a sweet, melodic low tune, then rise towards the song’s middle.
